Robyn Aaron, MSW, RSW, Psychotherapist
Robyn completed her Master of Social Work with a focus on trauma and clinical social work skills at Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, and holds a Master of Environmental Studies from York University. Robyn has worked in areas related to human rights and trauma for over 15 years, including in such areas as children affected by armed conflict, violence against children, sexual exploitation of children, and child trafficking in Canada. She has also worked in areas related to LGBTIQ+ rights and migration.

Robyn is passionate about trauma recovery, mental health of parents, as well as infant and early childhood mental health. Robyn works mostly with clients affected by childhood trauma, intergenerational trauma, and secondary trauma.
Working from an attachment-centered and trauma-informed approach, Robyn uses an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on Emotionally Focused Therapy, narrative therapy, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, and parts work. Robyn has also completed clinical training at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), with the Mental Health Outpatient Unit's Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Team, where she received specialized training in Parent Child Interaction Therapy.

$150 / 50 minute counselling session (parent coaching sessions are also available for the same fee).
All sessions are offered virtually.
Payment is accepted by e-transfer at the end of the session.
24 hours is required for cancellation.
